All races are held at Prairie City SVRA in Folsom, CA. The park is closed to off-road vehicles on Wednesday's, but they grant us special access for our races in the afternoon. Gates open at 4:30 pm, and there is no fee to enter the park.
Race age is how old you will be on December 31, 2018. Racers must complete all laps required for their category, or will be marked as a DNF. Any racer seen wearing earphones will be immdiately DQ'ed and pulled from the race. Race protests must be reported to the registration staff (or by emailing Jennifer) by midnight on the night of the race. Series standings are based on your best 8 of the 10 races.
We've made some changes to the series pricing! This season, ALL races are $25. (No additional charge for your first race of the season.) Instead of registering for a specific race, you can sign up for Race Credits. Race Credits are good at any race this season. When you come through speed check, the screen will show how many credits you have remaining, and we'll apply one to that race with the click of a button. Register for 3 Race Credits, and get your Prairie City Race Series T-Shirt, just like in years past. Race credits are non-refundable, non-transferable, and expire at the end of the season. You can also opt to bring $25 cash or check to each race and pay-as-you-go.

The Prairie City Race Series was started by Ventana Bicycles in 1995. A few years later, Brian Joder with Bicycling Events took over and helped make it a week-night "must." In 2018, Clint and Jennifer Claassen with Clipped In Races took the reins.
